New Forged Steel Railing
We are working on several interior railings for a residence outside of the city. This new home, which is currently under construction, will display many fine examples of local craftsmanship.
Below are some sketches that we created after interviewing the client and getting to the heart of their idea. Our conceptual process for this project was iterative. We created custom physical samples, showed clients other work by notable blacksmiths and artists to augment the drawings.

Pictured here are two current panel examples fresh out of the forge in a raw state. Although all panels are bound by the same design logic, each has a unique posture and attitude. This is the purview and benefit of custom work.
